A BIT OF HISTORY

2007
APRIL 2007
FOUNDATION
Initial investment of nearly a million dollars to launch the business. At this time, Transform Mouldings consists of a team of 4 employees and its operation focuses mainly on the industry of 5-piece cabinet doors as well as that of windows and doors. Coatings made of polyester, PVC and certain types of decorative papers are offered in a dozen Panolam colours.
MAy 2009
NEW PRODUCT- COLLABORATION WITH DAI NIPPON
The beginning of our collaboration with the Japanese business DAI NIPPON and addition of 50-gram decorative papers to our colour collection. Transform Mouldings also offers polypropylene, a new coating product that makes its way onto the market.
October 2009
Expansion
The business is in full-on expansion and purchases a second coating machine to enable the installation of a second production line.
late 2009
CHANGE OF DIRECTION
The business halts production of window piece coatings to concentrate instead on the production of parts for 5-piece armoires.
february 2010
VAST ARRAY OF COLOURS
Coating products are now available in about twenty different colours; two are them are made of polypropylene.
march 2010
NEW ACQUISITION
The business makes an important investment in machinery with the acquisition of a membrane press and begins production of raised hearts.
July 2011
NEW PROJECT: PURTFLEX TECHNIQUE
At the of 2010, Transform Mouldings launches a new project: hot coating. With the arrival of the hot coating machine, the business dives into the development and fine-tuning of its own paper treatment technique.
february 2015
NEW AQUISITION
We acquired a lamination line with the ever-present aim of offering the highest quality to our clients and of integrating our products to perfection. This allows us to have a door made of uniformly coloured components.
August 2016
NEW TYPE OF PURTFLEX FINISH
Launch of a new finish in the PURTFLEX line, the satin finish.
august 2020
New technology acquisition
By one of its most signifiant investments, Transform moulding reaches a new level by adding this ultra matte technology to its PurTflex collection.
